PAYMENTS & PREMIUMS

Most carriers offer discounts when purchasing multiple policies, so be sure to communicate with your agent clearly any assets you need to protect to see which bundle discounts you could be eligible for!

How are insurance premiums calculated?

Car, home, and life insurance premiums are calculated based on specific risk factors. For car insurance, factors include the driver's age, driving history, and the vehicle's make and model. Home insurance considers the property's location, construction, and security features. Life insurance premiums are influenced by the insured's age, health, and coverage amount. Insurers use actuarial data and statistical models to assess risks and determine the appropriate premiums, ensuring a balance between coverage and financial sustainability across these diverse insurance types.

What happens if I miss a premium payment?

Each of our carrier’s guidelines on late or missed premium payments varies, so please reach out to your agent as soon as possible so they can advise you on how to proceed.

How do I renew my insurance policy?

Most home & auto policies automatically renew. Some carriers require premium payment upon the date of renewal, so reach out to your agent if you are unsure about the renewal process for your carrier.
